New Graduate Training Program in Ecosystem Restoration

The University has been awarded a National Science Foundation IGERT grant in Ecosystem Restoration. Starting in Fall 2008 the program will offer a series of lecture and summer field courses as well as NSF Traineeship support for 2 years to Ph.D. students who are admitted to the program.  Students in the IGERT will get their degrees through the University's existing Ph.D. programs.  EEB students interested in this area of research should indicate that interest in their EEB application and discuss it with their proposed EEB advisor.  Procedures for applying to the IGERT will be available soon and interested students can check for information at http://www.eng.buffalo.edu/Research/ERIE/
