PhD students Heather Williams and Maura Tyrrell receive grants

Our newest grant recipients among EEB Grad students are:

Heather Williams, Ph.D. candidate, which has been funded by the North American Bluebird Society for her research on: “Parasites of cavity nesting birds – Diversity, Abundance, and Infestation rate of parasites and how they affect breeding success.”

AND

Maura Tyrrell, Ph.D. candidate, who was awarded a research grant from the National Geographic Society/Waitt Fund for her dissertation project on “The effect of intragroup and extragroup competition on male coalition patterns in wild crested macaques (Macaca nigra).”
